Illegal dump by the highway

Returning back from a press conference, CJ Jimmy Leow found a few piles of construction waste at the side of coastal highway to Bayan Lepas. He again visited the same site the next day and found those piles were pushed towards a swampy area and new piles of construction waste were again left there by irresponsible parties.

There was no sign to indicate there was any kind of construction work and therefore it is presume that the site is an illegal dump area.

Sri Lankan refugee intercepted

About 65 Sri Lankan refugees were intercepted by marine police in Penang yesterday according to Deputy Chief Minister, P Ramasamy. For more information, watch the video.

SMS sent by a fake "Lim Guan Eng" has been circulated to PR coalition party. Penang Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng said that the sms was written in Mandarin. To know more of the content, watch the video.

Is there hope for the turtles

Calls to end a supposed "attack against nature" on the beaches of Costa Rica claims that a series of photos indicating people digging up and stealing turtle eggs.

The photos are real, but it is not what is seems.

KBP folks: We are with Pakatan Rakyat

Kampung Buah Pala residents who accepted the Penang state's double storey house offer lashed out at their former KBP Chairman for taking a cheap shot at the Penang state government.

Deputy Chief Minister II, P. Ramasamy said that 15 residents had accepted the offer but there are still 9 who did not come forward even though they were given 3 months to respond.

Tarikh baru mesyuarat DUN PP

Penang Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng announced in a press conference today that May 3, 2010 is the new date for the 12th State Legislative Assembly.

Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas was in the Penang Hospital for gastritis. According to Lim, the governor is recovering well.

Abdul Rahman is scheduled to open the first sitting of the third session of the 12th State Legislative Assembly.
