Teresa, sue them until their pants drop....

"Su ka lau kor" in Hokkien it means sue them till their pants drop...

The mosque authorities from Bandar Kinrara admitted that Teresa Kok had nothing to do in the case of the azan call, it showed how "misinterpreted" the police and the newspapers were at the time of the investigations. So, this can only mean that Khir Toyo and Utusan Melayu were lying.

How come such accusations on Teresa Kok were not properly checked or confirmed at the shortest time? She was detained for a week long, just to find out that she was cleared of all charges. But wait, there were no charges required in ISA to detain you. Chia lat!

So, she was released "unconditionally", because :-

“the police were satisfied that she was not a threat to public order and security" and that "police investigations showed that there was no reason to detain her further".

Wah, like that also can ah.........

So, in this case, who is next to be investigated or dragged into ISA for a week of questioning? Of course, Khir Toyo and Utusan Melayu. They have created a wrong picture of Teresa Kok to the muslim community. And Teresa being a Chinese made things even complicated.

So tell me, who is promoting racial tension here?

It is time for Khir Toyo and Utusan Melayu to "visit" ISA, a week or two would be educational.

Malaysian Insider KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 — Senior Selangor executive councillor Teresa Kok filed a suit at the High Court registry today against Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar for unlawful arrest and false imprisonment over her week-long Internal Security Act detention on Sept 12 last year.

Naming Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan, the arresting officer DSP E. Kim Tien and the government of Malaysia as co-respondents, it is the fourth such suit filed by the Seputeh MP in relation to the arrest.

In December, she had filed two separate defamation suits for RM30 million against Utusan Melayu, with former Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo and columnist Datuk Chamil Wariya being co-respondents in one suit each.

The first was in relation to claims by Dr Khir that she had backed a petition to force a mosque in Bukit Kinrara to stop making the azan call, which is understood to have led to her arrest under the ISA, which allows for detention without trial, and the second on a short story written by Chamil, the Malaysian Press Institute chief executive officer, titled Politik Baru YB Josephine, which Kok claims refers to her as anti-Malay and anti-Islam.

In October, she had also filed a RM30 million suit against Utusan Melayu and its columnist Zaini Hassan over an article that made the same azan claim as Dr Khir.

In today's suit, she claims that she was arrested under the ISA by Kim Tien on the grounds that she had involved herself in activities which could spark racial and religious tension.

According to her filing papers, after her release Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Ismail Omar said she was released unconditionally because “the police were satisfied that she was not a threat to public order and security" and Musa had also said that "police investigations showed that there was no reason to detain her further".

Her lawyer, Sankara Nair, filed the civil suit on her behalf at 8.35am.

Khir Toyo, "Tai Yee Long" (Loan Shark) of Selangor

Just imagine how many cows you can buy with that kind of money. But we are not talking about cows are we, but Khir Toyo the Selangor "Tai Yee Long". For our Malay and Indian friends, "TYL" means Loan Shark. Since when did this little piece of dungu start a loan shark business? Mind you, this is no typical TYL, he does not use his own money, he uses state funds, that's the best part.

So, if a unit cost RM2.13 mil, therefore the total cost of 7 units is RM14.93 mil, sold to the unknown individual at RM 17.25 mil, clean profit of RM 2.32 mil. Chia lat ! Chiak beh liow!

When you have something like this hanging over your head, Khir Toyo, don't go digging up those cow issue or this and that issue. You are just waiting for a piece of cow dung to be slapped on your face.

SHAH ALAM: The purchase of several apartment units in Saudi Arabia by Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB) in 2007 may have contravened two laws.

In a statement released to the media by Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim’s political secretary Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad yesterday, it said the purchase could have breached the Exchange Control Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act.

He said records showed that the PNSB board of directors had approved the purchase of five units of the property amounting to RM8.35mil.

However, PNSB had transferred RM25.6mil for the purchase of 12 units of the said property without the board of directors’ approval.

The seven extra units were then sold to an individual for RM17.25mil. Nik Nazmi said that while the purchase was traded in Saudi Arabia Riyal by PNSB, it was sold in ringgit to the individual.

“To date, PNSB has no records indicating that the individual had obtained approval from the relevant authorities to invest in properties abroad,” he said.

MACC, whose catspaw?

Just one day after Lim Kit Siang labelled MACC as the catspaw of UMNO, MACC pulls out a rabbit from the hat to somehow counter the DAP strongman's comment. Nevertheless, it is yet to be seen if the "latest catch" will ever be prosecuted by the arms of the law. Who's law? UMNO's law? If so, probably nothing will happen, things will just slide away from the public's view and forgotten.

On Wednesday, a senior aide to an Umno minister was nabbed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission on for suspected graft. It has learnt from informed sources that the political secretary to the minister was stopped with more than RM50,000 in his car.

In January, MACC officers picked up 12 UNMO divisional officers as they were alleged to be distributing between RM 300 to RM 500 to some of the delegates who will be attending the general assembly-cum-elections.

Based on the MACC history of investigations on money politics in UNMO, none were found with corrupt acts related to the party election eventhough there were bread crumb trail of claims that money has been exchange.

How typical of a Malaysian political scene.

Malaysian Insider KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 — Calling the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission an Umno catspaw, opposition leader Lim Kit Siang today criticised the anti-graft body for clearing claims of money politics in Umno while harassing the Perak state speaker for abuse of power.

"Congratulations to the MACC chief commissioner for clearing Umno of all allegations of the corruption of money politics — which must have even caught Umno leaders, delegates and members by surprise that Umno is so clean, pristine and pure!," Lim said in a statement, referring to Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan's comments that no cases of money politics have been found.

Ahmad Said, who had earlier said there is evidence that Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim had abused power over the donation of 46 cows and use of his Lexus car, also got into hot water for claiming that Perak Speaker V. Sivakumar had abused his power by calling for an emergency assembly sitting.

Elizabeth Wong’s private photos

Look who is talking about moral! Of all people, the former MB of Selangor. Caught by the police in Penang recently for staging an illegal assembly at KS’s house not embarassing enough?

Before you talk about Elizabeth’s private photos and saying how immoral the situation is, try looking back at those who had “sinned” and “shown even more” of their immorality to the public and still taken back by the ruling party as if nothing had happened. What about the Chinese minister who had fun in a hotel and was filmed? And not forgetting the Dato “raba raba in the lift” CCTV clip taken from one of the lifts in the government building.

Suddenly you are so concerned about PKR’s image, what is PKR to you anyway? Clean your own backyard first before you peep at others. And make sure you wear your lingerie when you sleep, just in case.

Malaysian Insider KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 – Selangor Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Mohd Khir Toyo urged state executive councillor Elizabeth Wong to resign immediately after her nude photos were circulated.

Describing the scandal as embarrassing, Khir said Wong is no longer fit to remain as a member of the state administration or a lawmaker.

“This is about morality, whether the pictures were taken with or without consent is another matter, I cannot accept a lawmaker whose morality is questionable,” Khir told The Malaysian Insider.

“This is very embarrassing for the people of Selangor. This is about leadership, the people will not be able to accept this,” he added.
