Wine, anyone?

Hong Kong is set to overtake London as the second biggest center for wine auctions behind New York.

Announcing the landmark yesterday, Financial Secretary John Tsang said Hong Kong has become even more popular as a wine center since the elimination of duties in last year's budget.

The international wine and spirits fair which is on till tomorrow, is being held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center in Wan Chai.

It has attracted 520 exhibitors from 34 counties and regions, more than double the number from its first edition last year.
