Tailoring ends meet



Menaka, 41 has a tiny tailor shop along Jalan Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. During this Deepavali festive season, she is overwhelmed with alteration jobs from her regular customers. She recalled customers were willing to buy new clothes last year compared to this year. She said customers are being thrifty.

As the festival of lights around the corner, she has to balance between making ends meet and the preparation for Deepavali.
