No Beds for High Fever Patients?



The Health Ministry has been monitoring the H1N1 situation over the past few months and the ministry acknowledge the significant community transmission of the virus in the country.

The numbers of patients requiring hospital care has increased, including the ICU admissions.

With such increase, Citizen journalist, Jimmy Leow wonders if private hospitals have empty beds for patients for Influenza like illness or H1N1.

He called four private hospitals to find out if they have a bed for a patient with high fever. The followings are his tele conversation with the hospitals.
