DAP helps needy students

The money they have collected through donations during the recent Thaipusam was utilized to pay for the tuition fees of 10 poor students. The DAP Indian Culture Bureau has been active assisting poor families financially. This is the first time the bureau sponsored education funds. The small classroom located at Sg Dua, Penang can take in a least 20 students easily. And in order to help more students, DAP Indian Culture Bureau chairman, Havindar Singh, asked for the public to donate generously to help the needy. Video by Jimmy Leow
